Giveaway!

Ancouncing a

GIVEAWAY
of my sweet
VICE PETITE!

Why?  Because it is 11/11/11!
That sounds like a great date to do something special, so I'm offering one to one lucky winner.

Do you know what culture invented the numeral zero? That's right, we had numbers 1-9 a long time before we had a zero!

What do you have to do??

Just leave a comment and tell me you want it!!
Then tell a friend about my little Vice Petite. Pass on the word if you would.  I sold out the first batch, and there are a couple more listed in my Etsy store.

Let me know if this is something you want for Christmas, and I'll get my elves busy with orders!!

Contest is open now, and will close at midnight this coming Sunday, 11/13/11, PST.

Thanks for entering!!

Oh, and the zero was accepted and used in calculations by the 5th-2nd century BC, according to history, by Pingala, and Indian scholar. And before that, the Arabs!  There are many cultures that might have used it prior, but he zero had a tough time getting started. After all, represented "nothing"!

Have a fabulous weekend. Good luck!
Hugs,

Riki

  9. This is such a great little contraption. I haven't done much soldering lately, but it would be fun to get back in it. And 11 has always been my lucky number (my birth day was at 11 minutes to 8 on 8-11-68!). Enjoy the day, Miss Riki!
